Design Process
| 1 | Project Analysis |
The first step to getting you a dynamic, professionally designed website is project analysis. This is where we first meet you in person, and discuss everything you anticipate for your website. The most important part of this step is getting to know you and your business. Since we deal with all ranges of businesses from small to large, and in all different facets of business, from podiatry, to automobiles, to construction, we need to know what makes YOUR business tick. We need to know what it is that makes your business move, and how you want to approach your clients and potential clients through your website. The more you can help us, the more we can help you. After the initial meeting, we make our initial assessment of the project, and begin with stage two, the project proposal.
| 2 | Project Proposal |
After the meeting, we put together a project proposal. Within the project proposal, we discuss the structure of your website (how many pages), the website timeline (how long it will take, including milestone achievements), payment options, and more importantly, how we are going to solve your website design problem. If you approve, and everything looks good, we get started ASAP!
| 3 | Website Design Concepts |
Once the project proposal is signed, and an advance payment is received, we begin with the website design concepts. This is where we create visual concepts of your website using color, typography, branding materials, photography, and imagery. In other words, a faux website that doesn’t work, but would look just like the real thing. We first want to make sure you approve of the "graphics" of the website before we program it into a real, live website.
| 4 | Website Development |
After approval of the website design concept, we make your website into a live working prototype. We take the graphics and layouts, and program them using XHTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, and whatever else website technologies are applicable to the project. During this phase, all body copy will need to be provided to us by the client (or copy writer) in order to be placed appropriately within the website.
| 5 | Project Launch |
Upon final approval of the website, we upload the completed website to your domain.
